DESCRIPTION:The ESVS Academy invites you to their upcoming workshop: Optimising Medical Treatment. \nJoin: Dr. Francesca Fratesi\, Mr. Jonathan Harris \nTHIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO LOW REGISTRATION NUMBERS. WE APOLOGISE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE\nObjective \nA multidisciplinary approach to discussing the optimal and evidence-based management of secondary prevention of PAD. \nAfter this workshop\, you will be able to: \n\nDescribe the epidemiology and disease burden of peripheral arterial disease (PAD)\nCompare and describe the pharmacology of anti-aggregants\, anticoagulants and statins used for the treatment and prevention of PAD\nIncorporate the current evidence-based guidelines into clinical practice\n\nParticipants’ qualifications \nThe course is designed for vascular surgeons and vascular surgeons in training. Vascular Specialist Nurses with Prescribing roles could also attend. \nRegistration fee & cancellation policy \n€ 25 for ESVS members and € 30 for non-members. Please note that the course is dependent on final registration numbers. Where registration numbers are too low to run the course\, this will be announced on the website no later than 48 hours before the course starts. For cancellations received by participants more than 10 days before the event\, a refund will be given less an administration fee. For cancellations received less than 10 days before the event\, no refund is possible. \nCME accreditation is being requested for this session.
