DESCRIPTION:The Academy would like to invite you to the workshop: The Medical Management of Diabetic Foot Ulcers \nThis is a joint workshop between the Vascular Medicine track and PAD Pathway. \nPlease join: Miss Francesca Fratesi and Dr. Kakkhee Yeung \nAfter participating in this workshop\, the attendees should be better able to: \n\nUnderstand the current treatment landscape for different types of diabetic ulcers (ischemic\, neuropathic and neuroischemic)\nIdentify new and multidisciplinary treatment approaches\n\n17:00 to 17:15:  Introduction of panellists and discussion of learning points\n17:15 to 17:40: The ulcer formation process\n17:40 to 18:00: The offloading principles / advanced dressings treatments\n18:00 to 18:20: The role of antibiotic treatment and surgery\n18:20 to end: CASE BASE PRESENTATION AND STEP BY STEP REVIEW OF LEARNING OBJECTIVES\n               Closing remarks \nTarget audience: The course is designed for all level of knowledge but the participants are advised be familiar with pathophysiology of diabetic foot ulcerations.
