However\, the minimally invasive nature\, shorter procedural time\, quicker patient recovery time and improved technology available\, popularised Carotid artery stenting (CAS) beyond its original indications. Nevertheless\, the most important limitation to the widespread use of CAS is represented by a lack of skill by operators. The objective of the workshop is to offer the opportunity to the participants to improve their skills with CAS. This will be done through a theoretical section of the course\, with specific presentations about the materials and technique\, as well as a more hands-on section of the course\, where participants can use simulators and have the possibility to assist in a hybrid room\, and finally\, discussions with the faculty team and operators on 6 different cases of CAS. \nParticipant level: The course is designed for experienced interventionalists (vascular surgeons\, radiologists\, cardiologists\, neuro-radiologists) who want to start with a carotid artery stenting programme in their institution. Prior experience in endovascular procedures (200) is required. \nAccreditation: CME and Medtech accreditation are being requested for this course. \nRegistration & Cancellation Policy: The registration fee is € 300 for ESVS members and € 380 for non-members.
