Please go ahead and book your travel and accommodation. \nAdvanced Vascular Ultrasound course objective: \nThe objective of this ESVS advanced vascular Ultrasound course is to give participants a technical and practical understanding of advanced vascular ultrasound as well as introduce them to the science behind it. Advanced vascular ultrasound examinations include below the knee arteries\, carotid and vertebral arteries\, arteries of the upper limb\, haemodialysis vascular access\, EVAR surveillance\, mesenteric arteries and renal resistance index as well as innovative techniques such as 3D and contrast-enhanced ultrasound. \nThroughout this vascular surgery course\, participants will have the opportunity to practice their skills following our vascular surgery guidelines under expert supervision which will make up more than 50% of the course duration. These sessions will feature patients with relevant pathology reflecting the kind of cases discussed in our vascular surgery journals. This hands-on vascular surgery course is invaluable for those wanting to gain experience in vascular surgery procedures and supports our commitment to promoting excellence through vascular education. Join us at the Copenhagen Academy for Medical Education and Simulation\, \nFull Programme \nAccreditation: \nCME accreditation is being sought for this course. \nParticipant qualifications: \nThe course is designed for vascular surgeons\, vascular surgeons in training and vascular nurses\, sonographers and technologists. Practical experience with vascular ultrasound is required as well as theoretical knowledge corresponding to the ESVS course in basic vascular ultrasound. \nRegistration fee & cancellation policy: \nThe registration fee is € 1200 for ESVS members and € 1400 for non-members. For cancellations received by participants more than 20 days before the event\, a refund will be given less an administration fee of 10 EUR. SUMMARY:International Vascular Cork Course 2025
DESCRIPTION:Cork\, Ireland | 6-7 Nov 2025 \nThe International Vascular Cork Course 2025 is brought to you by UCC/College of Medicine & Health. It will be held in the ASSERT Centre. \n\n\nParticipants will gain hands-on experience with one full day of open surgical dissection and reconstruction procedures on cadavers in our state-of-the-art surgical skills laboratory. The simulated operating rooms feature integrated audio-visual facilities to allow for real time and post-procedure feedback from expert faculty. \nThe second day will comprise of two modules (i) bench-based large and small vessel anastomosis skills\, and (ii) Vascular Ultrasound where delegates will have the opportunity to scan peripheral veins\, the aorta and the carotid artery on an actor patient and there will be 1-to-1 supervision/direction by Vascular Physiologists. \nWe will limit the numbers so that there will be a maximum of 2 participants per cadaver\, with one-to-one tuition from the expert Faculty. \n\nThe IVC team has kindly offered ESVS and EVST members a €200 discount on registration fees (€1350 instead of €1550).
