GRANTS
Educational Travel Grants
The aim of the grant is to allow the applicant, over a short period of time, to look at a particular technique or research project in a complying host institution. A special committee within the Society will assess each application in a rapid and simple manner.
Who can apply?
Any active European and Non-European ESVS trainee or full member
The applicant must not yet have started their placement
The applicant’s placement should not have started yet by the time of the announcement of successful applicants (Applications open on May 5th, and the deadline to apply is 31st October).
Announcements will be made on the first week of December. Placements can begin only after the results have been announced.
The application should cover the applicant only. The Society does not support the additional travel costs of the family. The funds are transferred at the end of placement, once a Grant report has been provided.
Candidates awarded grants are expected to start their placement within one year of being awarded, and to inform the office if any delays are to be expected.
