The Vascunet Committee of the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS) is seeking applications for the position of Vascunet Secretary. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for active members of ESVS and Vascunet to contribute to the advancement of international vascular registries and research collaboration.
Position Overview
The Secretary will serve a two-year term (2025–2027), followed by a two-year term as Chair of Vascunet (2027–2029) and an additional two-year term as Co-chair of the International Consortium of Vascular Registries (ICVR) (2029–2031).
The newly appointed Secretary will begin their role at the ESVS Annual Meeting in Istanbul (23–26 September 2025) and play a key role in shaping the direction of Vascunet.
Eligibility & Application Process
- Open to active ESVS members with significant National and International experience in Vascular Surgery registries collaborations.
- Interested candidates must submit their application by 31 March 2025 via the form below and include information about: background, career stage and motivation for applying for the role.
- Candidate profiles will be shared with voters to facilitate an informed selection process.
Selection Process
- If multiple candidates apply, an election will be held at the Vascunet Spring Meeting in Uppsala, Sweden on 22 May 2025.
- The Executive Committee of ESVS will formally ratify the selected candidate.
