Open Call: Apply to Attend the ISWVS Conference 2026!

The ESVS EDI Team is delighted to offer four fully funded places for members to attend the International Society for Women Vascular Surgeons (ISWVS) Conference, taking place May 1–2, 2026, at The Georgian Terrace Hotel, Atlanta (and online).

The Women’s Vascular Summit brings together professionals dedicated to advancing care and research in vascular disease in women.

Application period: 9 December – 28 December

Review process

Applications will be reviewed by a number of the ESVS Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Task Force members. Each application will be assessed according to the following criteria:

1. Relevance to the applicant’s professional development
   The meeting attendance should clearly support the applicant’s educational or career goals in vascular surgery or related fields.
2. Potential impact on EDI and community engagement
   Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate how attending the meeting could help promote equality, diversity, and inclusion within their institution, community, or professional network.
3. Motivation and clarity of purpose
   The application should
4. well-articulated motivation statement explaining how participation will contribute to the applicant’s learning, networking, and future contributions to the field.
5. Financial need and access to opportunities
   Consideration will be given to applicants with limited access to institutional or other sources of funding, ensuring equitable access to professional development opportunities.
6. Overall completeness and quality of the application
   Applications should be complete, well-structured, and submitted within the specified deadline and format.
