Please join: Miss Francesca Fratesi and Dr. Kakkhee Yeung After participating in this workshop, the attendees should be better able to: Understand the current treatment landscape for different types of diabetic ulcers (ischemic, neuropathic and neuroischemic) Identify new and multidisciplinary treatment approaches 17:00 to 17:15:  Introduction of panellists and discussion of learning points 17:15 to 17:40: The ulcer formation process 17:40 to 18:00: The offloading principles / advanced dressings treatments 18:00 to 18:20: The role of antibiotic treatment and surgery 18:20 to end: CASE BASE PRESENTATION AND STEP BY STEP REVIEW OF LEARNING OBJECTIVES                Closing remarks Target audience: The course is designed for all level of knowledge but the participants are advised be familiar with pathophysiology of diabetic foot ulcerations.

The ESVS Academy proudly revisits the Planning and Sizing EVAR workshop This session (one workshop only, this time) is designed to provide gradually more and more advanced knowledge in the field of planning and sizing. You will learn about the pathology of abdominal aorta, important features, diagnosis, planning and sizing and discuss the steps of the procedure, their importance and role in the process, as well as the consequences of mistakes.  You will be expertly taken care of by: Zoran Rancic, Christos Karkos, Fernando Gajardo, Enrico Gallitto, Igor Koncar & Ferdinand Serracino-Inglott. Full programme Target audience: Basic level of knowledge CME: CME is not being requested for this course. Registration and Cancellation policy: € 25 for ESVS members and € 30 for non-members. Don't miss another instalment of the ESVS Viva Voce practice for the FEBVS exam! Join: David Lewis, Sanna Kouhia Objective The overarching objective of this course is to prepare candidates for some of the different parts of the FEBVS examination. This part of the course prepares candidates for the viva voce section of the examination. Small group viva voce exam practice, covering FEBVS curriculum topics on vascular disease. The viva voce practice will follow the format of Case Based Discussion with PowerPoint slides to focus questions and answers. The session is mapped to the FEBVS curriculum and covers a wide range of vascular conditions. Clinical presentation, pathology, investigation including imaging and treatment options will be covered during the session. Participants will be split into groups with one member of faculty for each group. Each participant will be asked to manage a clinical scenario for a minimum of 10 minutes under simulated (on line) exam conditions whilst the other members of the group observe the discussion. Timings need to be strictly adhered to and will accommodate the number of candidates in each session. ESVS Management of Central Venous Stenosis and Occlusion in Dialysis  You will be in the capable hands of: Flavia Gentile Roberta Brambilla Matteo Tozzi Alexandros Mallios Fernando Gallardo   Objective: Central venous stenosis and occlusions of the major intrathoracic veins (jugular, subclavian, brachiocephalic, superior vena cava) can jeopardise arteriovenous fistula/graft function, or limit access creation options in end-stage kidney disease. This workshop highlights indications/contraindications, and management options of central venous occlusion and stenosis in the ESKD patients on HD. As central venous stenosis and occlusion is a more common vascular disorder because of the rising number of patients with end stage renal disease on catheter, its treatment requires many specialists to be able to deal with this  problem. Thus, the course is designed to give the participants wider knowledge that will be useful in their daily practice.
