Objectives: This is a practical 1.5-day workshop to gain knowledge on the management of basic TEVAR including patient selection, sizing, and procedural steps of stent graft implantation. The workshop includes case presentations covering state-of -the-art management of a thoracic aortic aneurysm, aortic dissection, and traumatic aortic, as well practical training on access, procedural steps of TEVAR implantation with different devices, and troubleshooting/bail out techniques. Participant level: The course is designed for vascular surgeons and vascular surgeons in training. No TEVAR experience is required but some prior EVAR experience is expected. It's back! The Deep Venous Intervention in Acute DVT, Post-Thrombotic and Non-Thrombotic Iliac Vein Lesions workshop is part of the programme again. In collaboration with: the 2nd Department of Vascular Surgery, University of Athens, Greece. Course confirmed! Please go ahead and book your travel and accommodation! As deep venous interventions are rising there is increasing demand for better understanding of appropriate indications and techniques. This is a hands-on workshop on deep venous procedures on live, anaesthetised pigs in the operating theatre, including thrombectomy, stenting, IVUS, IVC filter placement and retrieval. Attendees will attend in-depth lectures by international experts on how to identify appropriate patients and how to use contemporary thrombectomy devices, dedicated venous stents and IVUS. Case discussions, silicon-models and simulators will complete the educational activity. To maintain close interaction with the faculty the workshop will be for 16 attendees (first come-first served). The ESVS and Copenhagen Certification Programme in Endovascular Aortic Repair - The ENHANCE EVAR Programme (Infrarenal fixation) Please note, this course is cancelled due to low take-up. We apologise for any inconvenience.  A collaboration:  Esvs and copeNHAgeN CErtification programme (ENHANCE ) is arranged as a collaboration between the ESVS Academy, the Department of Vascular Surgery at the University Hospital of Copenhagen (Rigshospitalet) and the Copenhagen Academy of Medical Education and Simulation (CAMES), Denmark. Today, the ENHANCE programme consists of two courses that can be taken independently of each other. ENHANCE Open focuses on open repair of infrarenal aortic aneurysms, and ENHANCE- EVAR focus on basic endovascular aortic repair (EVAR). Both courses are a part of the ESVS Aortic Fellowship Programme. This ENHANCE EVAR programme will have the same structure as the previous ENHANCE-EVAR courses. However, the device trained on will be different.
