Vascular ultrasound is harmless and can be performed bedside. The course is a 50% theoretical and 50% hands-on course. During the course, participants will be taught in physics and principles behind vascular ultrasound, ultrasound anatomy and how to perform basic vascular ultrasound examination: abdominal aorta, femoral arteries, peripheral bypasses, basic carotid ultrasound, deep venous thromboses,  varicose veins and A-V fistula.
