The first ESVS Academy session of 2022 20th January (18:00-20:00)   This workshop will provide information about advanced tips and tricks when performing endovascular procedures on arteries below the knee. Convenors will describe indications for revascularisation and optimal patient selection, techniques step by step from the approach to the treatment. Importantly, the limited number of attendees will allow for an interactive session, to discuss clinical cases between the speakers and the audience. Yann GOUËFFIC and Alessandro COSTANZO look forward to seeing you.     Intended audience: The course is designed for physicians that already performing endovascular interventions on peripheral arteries on femoro popliteal segment and would like to expand their field of treatment or for those that are already performing interventions below the knee and are seeking for tips. The PAD Academy Pathway continues ...  27th January (17:00-19:00) Trainees are often daunted by the wide array of unfamiliar kits required to perform endovascular procedures. This workshop aims to introduce candidates to the basic endovascular toolkit (incl. wires, catheters, balloons, stents…) required for peripheral interventions and familiarise them in a friendly, interactive environment, with the opportunity to ask and discuss anything in regards to endovascular tools with the expert faculty.
