Annual Congress of the Ukrainian Vascular Society (UVS) – Sukharev’s Readings

Kyiv, Ukraine | 27-29 March 2025 The ESVS members are invited to participate in the Annual Congress of the Ukrainian Vascular Society (UVS), “Sukharev’s Readings”, which will take place on March 27–29, 2025, at the Premier Hotel “Rus” in Kyiv, Ukraine. The congress is a significant event in the field of vascular surgery and medicine, bringing together leading experts from around the world. This year’s event will feature a hybrid format, offering both in-person participation and online connectivity for speakers, ensuring accessibility for international contributors. The thematic focus of the congress will include: Vascular combat trauma Acute and chronic vascular diseases during wartime Surgery of the aorta and its branches Surgery of brachiocephalic arteries Critical limb ischemia Current issues in venous thromboembolism (VTE) Chronic venous diseases of the lower extremities and pelvis Complications of chronic venous diseases Pelvic venous disorders Congenital vascular malformations Lymphedema Venous trophic ulcers Diabetic foot Organisational issues in vascular surgery The working languages of the congress will be Ukrainian and English. Systematic reviews of the published literature are a well recognised and respected way of contributing to our understanding of vascular disease. The course is designed to give the participants wider and clearer knowledge of how to plan, conduct, write up and publish a systematic review. As well as advancing knowledge, performing and publishing a systematic review is an excellent way to enhance your curriculum vitae and career opportunities.
