We are pleased to announce a new face-to-face course in the Aortic Pathway, taking place in Zagreb! Course confirmed! Please go ahead and book your travel and accommodation! You will be in the capable hands of: Zoran Rancic, Frederico Bastos Goncalves, Fernando Gallardo, Predrag Pavic, Elena Iborra and Damir Haluzan.   Objectives: This 2-day workshop is designed to provide gradually more and more advanced knowledge in the field of planning and sizing. Participants will learn about the pathology of abdominal aorta, important features of abdominal and thoracic aorta (with side branches that determine feasibility of EVAR/TEVAR or require more complex endovascular procedures) and diagnosis (intact AAA or ruptured AAA, with presence of aorto-cava fistula, aorto-enteric fistula). For the thoracic aorta pathologies, focus will be on aneurysm, but also the PAU (penetrating aortic ulcus) and type B aortic dissection.  All the features as well as hemodynamic instability with arterial hypotension at the moment of CTA, influence the sizing and planning. All steps of the sizing and planning (necessity of CTA, arterial access, proximal, distal landing zone…) will be discussed, as well as their importance and role in the process and the consequences of any mistakes that may have occurred. A collaboration:  Esvs and copeNHAgeN CErtification programme (ENHANCE ) is arranged as a collaboration between the ESVS Academy, the Department of Vascular Surgery at the University Hospital of Copenhagen (Rigshospitalet) and the Copenhagen Academy of Medical Education and Simulation (CAMES), Denmark. Today, the ENHANCE programme consists of two courses that can be taken independently of each other.
