The ESVS and Copenhagen Certification Programme in Endovascular Aortic Repair - The ENHANCE EVAR Programme (Infrarenal fixation) Please note, this course is cancelled due to low take-up. We apologise for any inconvenience.  A collaboration:  Esvs and copeNHAgeN CErtification programme (ENHANCE ) is arranged as a collaboration between the ESVS Academy, the Department of Vascular Surgery at the University Hospital of Copenhagen (Rigshospitalet) and the Copenhagen Academy of Medical Education and Simulation (CAMES), Denmark. Today, the ENHANCE programme consists of two courses that can be taken independently of each other. ENHANCE Open focuses on open repair of infrarenal aortic aneurysms, and ENHANCE- EVAR focus on basic endovascular aortic repair (EVAR). Both courses are a part of the ESVS Aortic Fellowship Programme. This ENHANCE EVAR programme will have the same structure as the previous ENHANCE-EVAR courses. However, the device trained on will be different. The focus will be on advanced technologies employed in Below-The-Knee interventions, encompassing the use of guidewires, balloons, atherectomy devices, microstents, the retrograde approach, Optical Coherence Tomography, and Fractional Flow Reserve in BTK interventions. The comprehensive agenda extends to patient assessment, facilitating the selection of appropriate interventions, and emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach, fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals engaged in below-the-knee interventions.
