Venous Pathway Module: Deep and pelvic veins treatment – when to open and when to occlude?

Presenting the next workshop in the Academy Venous Pathway As deep and pelvic veins disorders are not commonly treated, there is need to show the possibilities of therapeutical options in this field. The course is designed to give the participants wider knowledge useful in their daily practice. During this workshop, upon presented cases, participants will discuss with the experienced convenors about the various factors influencing the outcomes of a deep venous stenting procedure and venous embolization and also the indications for these interventions, various techniques of the procedures (stents, balloons,coils, fluids, foam). It seems that there is a lack of vascular surgeons treating venous pathologies. This the course is designed to give participants wider knowledge which will be useful in their daily practice. As the pool of phlebological patients is very wide and many treatment modalities can be used, the course will highlight indications for some specific methods, which are the most appropriate for given patients. Registration is OPEN. Course fees : 25€ ESVS Members, 30€ Non-members Cancellation policy: For cancellations received more than 5 days before the event, a refund will be given less an administration fee of 10 EUR. For cancellations received less than 5 days before the event, no refund is possible. Aortic Pathway Module : FEBVS Exam Preparation

Preparing for the FEBVS Exam? This Pathways module is for you  - December 9th 2021. FEBVS Exam Preparation (Aortic) The overarching objective of the FEBVS exam prep course on the ESVS Pathways Project is to prepare candidates for some of the different parts of the FEBVS examination. This part of the course prepares candidates for the viva voce section of the examination. On completion of this section of the course, as well as well as assimilating knowledge of aortic and mesenteric conditions, candidates will have a high level of understanding of how to approach answering clinical oral exam questions in an ordered, organised and logical way. Join Mr. David Lewis and his expert colleagues online for small group viva voce exam practice, covering FEBVS curriculum topics on aortic and mesenteric disease, pathology, investigation and treatment. Each participant will be asked to manage a clinical scenario for 10 minutes under simulated exam conditions whilst the other members of the group observe. Registration is OPEN.
