The vascular symposium where Education, Innovation and Evidence come together. CX 2022 will be in-person, in London, UK, and virtual for our wider global audience. The CX Symposium continues its three-year cycle of raising vascular and endovascular controversies in order to challenge the available evidence and be able to reach a consensus after discussion with an expert audience.

Hands-on Workshop in Vascular Ultrasound – Barcelona

The ESVS Academy invites you to Bellvitge University Hospital for the upcoming Hands-on Workshop in Vascular Ultrasound. 4-6 May 2022 Objective The course provides a thorough grounding in the clinical skills to work in vascular ultrasound. During the course, participants are presented an intensive series of short lectures focussed on technical aspects of the different US examinations. Lecturers explain the examinations while performing one in the same room on selected patients. Classroom teaching is supplemented by sessions at the Vascular Laboratory, where participants have the opportunity to practice their skills under supervision on patients with relevant disease and on silicone models for  US guided puncture. Hands-on sessions last  5 hours each day. (4 participants /1 tutor/ 1 station) E-learning module Before attending the course, participants will have access to an on-line blended learning module that will introduce them to the basic knowledge of ultrasound and the standards of the different examinations. VISAR (Vienna Interdisciplinary Symposium on Aortic Repair)

The VISAR (Vienna Interdisciplinary Symposium on Aortic Repair) will be held from May 20-21, 2022, in Vienna/Austria. Over the course of VISAR 2022, you’ll be informed about newest findings and knowledge related to aortic diseases, get an insight into ongoing trials, exchange with your peers and learn from international experts! Take the opportunity to actively contribute to the meeting by submitting a case to present, by participating in the debates & discussions and getting educated by attending some of the small group hands-on sessions! The program once again consists on a well-balanced mixture of state-of-the-art lectures on management of challenging cases and complications, related case presentations and discussions, and hands-on training sessions on different topics related to aortic therapy as well.
