European Venous Forum 2025

Krakow, Poland | 26-28 June 2025 The 25th EVF Annual Meeting Programme will be based on original research presentations, didactic sessions and industry sessions. The best abstracts will be selected for oral and poster presentations after a ‘blind’ abstract scoring process. The didactic sessions will cover numerous topics, such as new developments in the management of VTE, updates on practical phlebology and CVD. There will also be a joint session of EVF with the American Venous Forum (AVF) and the European Society of Vascular Surgery (ESVS). Our main audience will be Phlebologists, Surgeons, Vascular Surgeons, Vascular Medicine Specialists, Dermatologists, Interventional Radiologists, Aesthetic Medicine Physicians and all others interested in the management of venous disease. We also invite residents from various specialty training programmes to increase their knowledge about venous and lymphatic disease. Find more information here. ESVS Viva Voce practice for the FEBVS exam – September 2025

Due to popular demand, the ESVS Viva Voce practice for the FEBVS exam is back, with three sessions this year! Join: Eline Van Hattum and Martin Teraa in the September 2025 edition. Objective: The overarching objective of this course is to prepare candidates for some of the different parts of the FEBVS examination. This part of the course prepares candidates for the viva voce section of the examination. Small group viva voce exam practice, covering FEBVS curriculum topics on vascular disease. The viva voce practice will follow the format of case-based discussion with PowerPoint slides to focus questions and answers. The session is mapped to the FEBVS curriculum and covers a wide range of vascular conditions. Clinical presentation, pathology, investigation including imaging and treatment options will be covered during the session. Participants will be split into groups with one member of faculty for each group. Each participant will be asked to manage a clinical scenario for a minimum of 10 minutes under simulated (online) exam conditions whilst the other members of the group observe the discussion. EVTM Workshop 2025

Örebro, Sweden | 11-12 September 2025 A combination of seminars, discussions and hands-on training on live tissue and models are used, aimed at sharing endovascular resuscitation knowledge through endovascular access skills, REBOA, embolisation, and other methods for hybrid bleeding control. Both basic and advanced methods are practised, based on personal experience. The workshop offers a unique opportunity to perform procedures not performed in any other courses or workshops, on live tissue. Practical training focusing on what to do and what not to do is performed on live tissue on unique models developed specifically for this workshop that you will never have seen before!
