Vascular Access Pathways : Preserving the AVF: steal syndrome, high flow, aneurysm
We introduce the first session in our brand new Vascular Access Academy Pathway 7th April (18:00-20:00) Join Flavia Gentile, Joris Rotmans, Matteo Tozzi, Roberta Brambilla and Anton Razuvaev Steal syndrome, high flow and aneurysm are common complications responsible of vascular access dysfunction. The course is designed to give the participants wider knowledge useful in their daily practice in order to preserve the dialysis vascular access. Different treatment modalities can be utilised, the course will highlight the indications for some specific methods, which are the most appropriate for given patients. The eligible cases will be presented, and designed treatment indicated. By attending this course, participants will know how to deal with these common vascular access complications in order to preserve a functional access. They will learn the indications for some specific treatment modalities and be able to decide if they are the most appropriate for given patient. A thought that there is no unique and perfect treatment modality for each patient will be presented and highlighted. Registration IS OPEN!
