The Academy proudly presents another of the Planning and Sizing series! Session 1 : Planning and sizing elective EVAR - 2nd June (18:00-20:00) Session 2 : Planning and sizing emergent EVAR - 16th June (18:00-20:00) This 2-part series  is designed to provide gradually more and more advanced knowledge in the field of planning and sizing.  Participants will learn about the pathology of abdominal aorta, important features, diagnosis, planning and sizing. Discuss the steps of the procedure, their importance and role in the process, as well as the consequences of mistakes occurred.. You will be in the capable hands of several of our Academy Pathway Leads including Zoran Rancic, Igor Koncar, Flavia Gentile Johansson and Claudia Schrimpf. In addition, Christos Karkos, Fernando Gallardo and Frederico Bastos Goncalves will complete the faculty who will guide you in the online workshops.  Course fees: We strongly recommend that you register for both modules in the Abdominal Aorta (elective and emergent) series. Then here is your chance to advance your skills in another of our popular US courses.  The ESVS Academy and the Department of Vascular Surgery, Rigshospitalet, Denmark invite you to the upcoming Advanced Course in Vascular Ultrasound. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.    Objective Building on what was taught at the Basic Course in Vascular Ultrasound in January this year, the objective of this course is to teach the science behind, technical and practical aspects of more advanced vascular ultrasound examinations, i.e. arteries of the lower limb below the knee, carotid and vertebral arteries, arteries of the upper limb, haemodialysis vascular access, EVAR surveillance, mesenteric and celiac trunk, and 3D and contrast-enhanced ultrasound. Participants will have an opportunity to practice their skills under supervision during the course as > 50% of the course will be hands-on sessions on patients with relevant vascular pathology.
