WE APOLOGISE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE Objective A multidisciplinary approach to discussing the optimal and evidence-based management of secondary prevention of PAD. After this workshop, you will be able to: Describe the epidemiology and disease burden of peripheral arterial disease (PAD) Compare and describe the pharmacology of anti-aggregants, anticoagulants and statins used for the treatment and prevention of PAD Incorporate the current evidence-based guidelines into clinical practice Participants’ qualifications The course is designed for vascular surgeons and vascular surgeons in training. Vascular Specialist Nurses with Prescribing roles could also attend. Registration fee & cancellation policy € 25 for ESVS members and € 30 for non-members. Please note that the course is dependent on final registration numbers. Where registration numbers are too low to run the course, this will be announced on the website no later than 48 hours before the course starts. The ESVS Academy proudly presents the Planning and Sizing series. The final installment of 2022 is EVAR: Abdominal Aorta (elective and emergent)  8th December (18:00-20:00) 15th December (18:00-20:00) Session 1 : Planning and sizing elective EVAR Session 2 : Planning and sizing emergent EVAR   This 2-part series  is designed to provide gradually more and more advanced knowledge in the field of planning and sizing.  Participants will learn about the pathology of abdominal aorta, important features, diagnosis, planning and sizing. Discuss the steps of the procedure, their importance and role in the process, as well as the consequences of mistakes occurred.. You will be in the capable hands of Zoran Rancic, Igor Koncar, Christos Karkos, Frederico Bastos Goncalves, Fernando Gallardo, Flavia Gentile , Enrico Gallitto Course fees : We strongly recommend that you register for both modules in the Abdominal Aorta (elective and emergent) series.
