27-29th of June | Athens, Greece The European Venous Forum, in collaboration with the Hellenic Society of Phlebology, are pleased to announce the forthcoming meeting of the European Venous Forum meeting in the heart of Athens. The didactic sessions will cover numerous topics such as new developments in the management of VTE, update on practical phlebology and CVD. There will be the joint session with the EVF and the American Venous Forum (AVF). This year we are pleased to announce that there will also be a joint session with the European Society of Vascular Surgery (ESVS). From the founding of the Vascular Society of India on 6th August 1994, this date has become the Indian National Vascular Day.  The VSI is organising a walkathon across 34 cities in India on Sunday 4th August to promote awareness of vascular illness. Neighbouring countries such as Nepal and Bangladesh have also confirmed thier involvement. The walkathon will involve Vascular surgeons and members of the public starting at 7AM, IST. Local celebrities  (politicians, bureaucrats, film personalities, socialites) often attend and give short talks. If you are in that part of the world on Sunday 4th August, why not join in the fun!  Registration is free and the entire event is sponsored by the Vascular Society of India with no Industry involvement.
